Heck of a price, great seller. Buy it if you think you need it- this has been dewalt's premier driver for a number of years (though it's rumored to be dethroned with a new release this year). At this price point it's a "grab".

Just a home DIYer but I have not been gentle with mine. Rebuilt a shed, front steps, gazebo, some auto work with socket adapters, dropped it off ladders a few times....the DCF887 is a beast and this is a great price.

It's on the page bottom left on mobile browser. Clear cache and revisit. It's first time online buy promo.

Shipping kills the deal unless you can get $150 total purchase. Can't seem to find anything else worth purchasing. Would need to get 3 of these to maximize value.

Apparently my order was not eligible for 10 off at $99.50. Supposed to be valid for $99+

The new XR impact driver has been out since last year, the DCF845.

XR or not, I have the Atomic DCF850 and would buy it again over any other 1/4 impact. Not $69 though.

Wait for a package deal with batteries and a charger and another free tool. Lowes had one earlier this week. May still be active. This gets you more tools and spending more money though, lol

Look for a tool you want in a package deal. I have several batteries. I bought several deals that have made it worth it. Just got the sander deal, which I didn't really need since I have others, but I trust the DeWalt more. I've actually sold several DeWalt batteries because I've had too many and made money.

People were doing the hack at Home Depot with some tools where it was buy a tool for $200, free $200 in batteries, but I actually sold them for $150 instead of paying the $100 for just the tool on the hack. Buy low, sell higher when not on sale. Better chance of return here for me in Montana. Ryobi has low value and I can't hardly sell, but I have been able to split the kits up where it's buying the Ryobi batteries for $100 with a free tool, I sell the batteries for $60-70. Now I have battery adapters for my DeWalt batteries to use on my Ryobi tools.

you're a little late to the party. lol, that already happened. DCF850 and DCF845. 850 puts out more torque and the 845 spins faster. 850 is better for doing work on cars but 845 is better for construction. 887 is still very capable though. the real world difference in performance is minimal. but more importantly, the 887 still has the bigger anvil and motor compared to the other two, so it will last longer. i've seen a lot of people complain about the 850's durability
