Found this at my local lowes (zip 27518). I'm not sure how good it is, but as always, buy now, think later

$59 in my store. I still bought it with employee discount and gift card savings. I've been looking for a good deal on a trim router for awhile.

$50 at my local store, still worth it. And it was actually on a shelf where the app said it was!

Found about 5-6 of them sitting in the "back aisle" clearance section of my Lowes (S-Meridian, ID) for $60.

Note for anyone looking at this for a CNC, the spindle diameter is 65.8mm instead of ~65mm like the Makita trim router. Depending on your attachment method, it may or may not work for you.

Got my for 45. It's in the regular place with other Kobalt tools and marked as 99. But checked out as 45. That's probably why still available? Any experience of using it as a regular trim router, not for CNC?

Can you point me in a direction for CNC set ups that would work with this or other routers. Or a site I could research CNC stuff, my googling cast a broad net and it's hard to know what is good info. Seems like it could be something cool to get into.

As mention previously, but the price at store display $99 or similar but if you ask a worker there to check the price you might be surprise with a $40 trim router.

Does anyone have more input on the quality of this trim router? How does it compare to some other brands?

Just a heads up this looks identical to the Bauer HF model I just picked up and it runs $45.

Definitely not identical, id say this tracks closer to the Hercules model, which is $80. Has the same kit of accessories too as the kobalt, 7 amp motor, and soft start. seems like a solid deal here, lucked out and my Lowe's had it for 40

Can this trim router be used as a palm router instead of with a CNC?
