I just don't like B&Hs return policy. Well... Once you open the box, you can't return anymore

Is there much of a performance difference between the 4060 and 4070 on a laptop? Aren't they both 8 GB VRAM?

Large difference actually like 10-15%

So with 10% off it's like 1350 out the door for mc 4070 model. Win

-10% mc card makes it 1259 then tax is 100.

17% here

A crappier screen, and Costco's return policy and warranty, that's it.

Costco is wonderful, except for this laptop config. Lenovo legions are always a better deal from Lenovo with their tons of discounts and when retailers are trying to liquidate them for new models.

I think the reasoning is, Costco has 90 day return policy, so it can't be too competitive as people will just return a lot. and they still take a cut off the top, and they double manufacture warranty, instead 1 year, Costco makes it 2. so Costco doesn't want to give you a great deal. an okay deal.

go Lenovo, or microcenter, or bh, antonline etc.

So Costco is 200 cheaper and the difference is the worse screen, but I get 2 years of warranty. May work for me as I plan to use it as mobile workstation between office and home where I have monitors, with only occasional travel. Thanks for the info!

Yep, and the screen itself isn't "crappy", just crappier than this one Smilie

Boy, the masses have really bought into the whole VRAM argument. More VRAM does not always mean more performance.
