since we're stuck using it on only the first can
get the 15oz one, the same 35% works on it.
full SnS on one 15oz can - came to $1.96
which was it's local sales price a year ago.
i often see local sales on 15oz cans from
various names in the $3-$4 range.

Thanks, and HERE [amazon.com] is the link for the larger can.

Edit: never mind, not exactly the same (the larger can has bones; the 5-oz can is boneless).

why is this particular item on sale? maybe this recent study has a clue:

Among the supermarket foods tested, Annie's Organic Cheesy Ravioli proved to have the most phthalates at 53,579 per nanogram, followed by Del Monte sliced peaches which contain 24,928 phthalates per nanogram and Chicken of the Sea pink salmon, which has 24,321 phthalates per nanogram.Jan 4, 2024
different brand, i know, but still scary.

It's not the same product! The smaller cans are skinless & boneless. The larger cans aren't. Please do your homework before making recommendations!

You are right, the can looks the same. I will clarify my earlier post. Thank you for your help.

You're welcome! The reason why I was a bit firm about this is because it's a vastly different product. The skinless & boneless version is only available in the 5 oz. version. I suppose that's because it's intended to be used like cans of tuna (salmon salad vs. tuna salad). What's insane about this (supposed) deal is that the 35% is deducted from only one can! Most people will purchase multiple cans (as they do with tuna). This would only be a good deal if it was a 10 pack (or larger) at a similar price with the 35% S&S discount.

It is a 2 pack, not a single. Correct? See attached image.
