Depends I guess. I'm 41 years old and grew up playing a lot of these games. I own many of these games now. I've shown them to my kids. They're unimpressed. They're fun for me to take a trip down memory lane for nostalgia's sake, but I can't say they offer much replayability. Is that worth $20 to you? Only you can say.

On xbox you can also take that $20, buy developer mode and put emulators on your console which allows you not to just play these games but all older games you grew up with. Here's an easy tutorial

Thank you for posting! Anyone have any experience with these 2 bundles specifically? I'm on the verge but seems like an impulse buy and not something I will truly get my money's worth on. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Except that downloading games you don't own is still illegal due to copyright infringement.

Emulation is not illegal. If you own your old games in any form you can easily rip them to work with an emulator or download them digitally.

Such a bold statement without proper research leads to misinformation. In context of the Capcom games listed for sale here, they still seem to be sold and supported and therefore would not likely fall under "abandonware." However, to the broader statement you made about all "downloading games you don't own is still illegal" is not as broad as you claim.

Begin here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abandonware

As well, the post above is correct about downloading digital copies of works that are already owned (actually licensed).

I own this for Xbox for both bundles. let's forget that I've bought these games multiple times over on disc compilations for Ps2 and Xbox 360 (got tired of digging them out to insert the discs)

given the portability of Switch not gonna lie I'm considering buying it again.

however I did get both bundles for less during holiday sales. imo the 1st collection is better than the 2nd.

Sometime they discount everything so you can also buy the games individually and eliminate the ones you could care less for and bring your cost down which I did with the 2nd Bundle with so many redundant titles like SF, Darkstalkers, and shooters.

Sure. But that's not how the vast majority of people use emulation.

When I was a kid in the 80s I could play these games for hours on end. Now after 5 minutes I can't stand them. They really are hard to play now a days for long periods.

I went to the product page to check out and the 2nd bundle was showing up free for me. Idk if it's free for everyone or bc I have gpu but just an fyi.FYI.

edit: scratch that. it looks like what I got free is just 2nd stadium (interface?) and not the bundle.

Highly recommend this. Especially if you have purchased these a dozen times over the years anyway. The Series X can emulate some pretty solid machines. PS2 at 4K 60fps. It's worth a look.
