I ordered off Doordash the other day and was not able to use dashpass with gift card credit. Not sure if it was a glitch or not, but if that was intentional using gift cards becomes a lot less attractive if you're losing the discount on fees from dashpass.

Thanks, there's some restaurants near me that don't up mark and I just pickup the order. Uber eats seems to get better promos though like bogo

Is the dashpass part of a credit card promo/perk? If so make sure it's the default payment for rolling balances off the gift card. Otherwise if you are paying for dashpass directly it shouldn't happen.

The cost/value of DD as a service in general is subjective. Lots of people have different needs and budgets that make DD more or less worth it.

What is objective is that 15% is solid discount for a gift card that isn't for an obscure store/service.
