Ordered 2 on the last sale. These are great heaters. Highly recommend them, great build quality. A very strong fan. We haven't had to turn on our heater at home.

1,500 Watts at 110 volts is 13.6 Amps. If you have this plugged in on a 15 Amp circuit and are running a few other things, then yes, it will trip. That's not an issue with the heater but with your home and your energy consumption meaning whatever else you have running on that circuit breaker.

there is "no fix" because nothing needs to be fixed.. if you are tripping breakers, it's because you are overloading it or have a faulty breaker.

It just worked for me. I used the amazon app. After I entered the code, there is an arrow to the right of where you enter the code. You have to click on the arrow before clicking continue in order to apply the code. If you just click continue, it will think you didn't enter a code. Bad interface design.
Oh man this was it, wow I feel dumb loI

Thank you!

Bummer.
Lol turns out I wasn't clicking the arrow to actually apply the coupon, just clicking continue

It's not you, I made the same mistake the first time too. Actually, I read an earlier post about someone saying you can't just hit continue, so that got me really examining everything near the box where you enter the code and I saw that arrow, lol. It's a bad interface, not very intuitive. Glad it worked!

Hey, you got it sorted and that's all that matters.

I'm excited to try this thing out. I have one of those Vornado's from Costco which does the job, but the remote stopped working unless I put it in direct contact with the heater. Plus, I can't automate it in any way. I'm hoping to get this Govee unit into Home Assistant and do some basic automation.

Received mine and can now say this thing is great. I'm just using the controls on top for now. It heats up within seconds and the air feels really nice. The light on the bottom is a nice touch as well. I'm using it to remind me when the heater is on vs just fan mode. I like how small it is compared to the big convection heater I was using. I'm tempted to order another one but don't really have another use.

We also have some heater from Costco and we think this works great. Why do you think Costco one is better

Just the heating part, I run them both for an hour in the same room and lasko one really heats up like you can feel it if you leave the room and come back, govee one only gets it warm. I believe its because the area it outputs the heat is smaller compared to lasko

Just plugged mine in today and got the crackling at base sound as well. Really like the product too, might exchange it and if the problem persists return it.

Did you run both on an energy plug to confirm they are using the same? 🤔

Just an fyi for folks...

This uses 1.5kwh on high in 1 hour.

It uses 1532 watts total on high
it uses 1354 watts total on medium
it uses 1035 watts total on low
it uses 5 watts total on fan

*light is off

raised the temperature 🌡️ 5 degrees of a 200 square foot room in 30 minutes.

I did a comparison with the baseboard heat in the room. it took 15 minutes to raise the same room 5 degrees.

the internal sensor on the unit is off by 4 degrees higher (temp display in app)
