what happened to the title? Does that mean we no longer get the credit in a lump sum? I saw people talking about trading in store is OK, but if i pay in full online, will I still get the full credit at a time as usual?
Slickdeal staff changed the title, the original post is still there, at the bottom.

i also checked the offer detail, it doesn't say new line being required. but the thread says we need new line. It's so confusing. i red all the comments here and didn't find clear answer. is upgrade still valid?
Yes, the new description is confusing. I hope it is not 36 months bill credit

If you trade in value more than the cost of the MotoRazr plus tax, do you get instant credit back to your credit card or to your account?

For any spectrum phone deals, you can upgrade, add a line, pay in full, 36 months eip. You pick what you like.

So, you are still throwing Kudos to the deal inspite of being informed that there is no need for 36months EIP. Lmao
lmao yes, if there is no 36 months EIP required and yet, the Title of the deal explicitly states that!

The title has been edited since yesterday.

If you go in store you can trade in old phones for a straight up $800 credit towards the phone if you choose the "pay in full" option vs the 36mo finance option.

Also as of yesterday you could trade in a phone in-store and get $700 towards any of the new galaxy s24 phones. Doing that with the paid in full option seems to net a pretty cheap s24 (~$100+ 2months cheapest service) after using for 2 months, unlocking after 60 days, then presumably cancelling the service.
Then a good deal. The title is still this:

Spectrum Internet Customers: 256GB Motorola Razr+ (Trade-In & New Line Req.) Free after 36 Monthly Bill Credits + Free Shipping

Your situation is not exactly like mine. I meant, what happens to the overage after all the fees, taxes and activation fee?

You will leave the device there to get the instant credit. Worth a shot to try at a store.
That is a negative, just did the trade a few min ago and you have to pay the total price for the phone and ship the trade phone yourself. After Assurant approves the trade, you get a credit back to your card.

You should have gone to a different store. You can most definitely leave your old device there and walk out with a new phone and a completed transaction. Sounds like the employees at that store didn't know what they were doing. I've done trade ins at two different stores and both took my old device on the spot.
