I got an email from Carl's Jr. pretending to be an internal employee email about Free Burger Day on 2/12. It contained a link [carlsjr-internal.training] to a fake employee training site. There aren't many details on the promotion on the website other than customers will get a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Ts&Cs of the email state *Offer valid 2/12/24 only at participating restaurants while supplies last. Registration required. Tax not included. Not valid for use within a combo or in combination with any other offer or discount. Offer only redeemable in the app for pickup or in-restaurant by showing the in-app offer. Limit one free single burger per registered user. Offer not available for redemption with 3rd party vendors or delivery partners.


I imagine they'll load the free burger into your rewards account.

I used to go to CJs occasionally with a BOGO WBC coupon. Was such a great deal. Went there recently and was utterly shocked to find even as a BOGO I was in almost $8. Man, I guess I really missed the inflation memo.

The only place I really see coupons for CJs is at the car wash next door. Theres a huge stack by the register and they are the same coupons that get put in the mailbox of local residents.

Do I understand this correctly that I just need to open the app on 2/12/24, and the Reward will be there? I'm just trying to verify that we don't need to register somewhere first or gain some kind of coupon code. I think that maybe when they say, "Register," they mean that you need to register for the app, but if I've already done that, I suppose I'm good to go?

Same here. After receiving that email they also removed the coupon from my account. I don't think this deal is vaid.
