I'm so mad I've been using TT Premier desktop version for the last 5 years because that's what it says I have to use on the TT website, because I was buying/selling stocks. Apparently from what I've read now, Deluxe desktop version could've worked.
Looks like they've updated the language for Premier to "Extra help for stocks & investments".

They also got banned by FCC to use the word FREE because their free turbotax version wasn't actually free.

I just filed my taxes using freetaxusa last night and it was flawless. Took awhile for me to figure out how to report my investments but it wasn't that hard to do a summary and attach the forms my crypto exchanges sent me to my tax form. Feels good not paying. I saved over 80 bucks.

Freetax USA is what I have been using for past few years. Simple pricing structure, good interface and handles all kinds of tax forms/situations. I do not even try to convince people at work who are turbo/hr block fanbois and justify spending the higher cost to buy "secure" , "trustworthy" software.

Does FreetaxUSA allow you to attach a PDF supporting document when e-filing, or are you paper mailing your return?
