That ghost busters movie failed for the same reason the Amazon lord of the rings show failed. They hijacked something everyone loved and used it to push the current "message". Many viewers are tired of being force fed cultural issues and just want to watch a movie.

I'll get down voted because we are ever becoming an Orwellian society where if you don't goose step in line with the current "thing" then you're an enemy to be shamed and silenced.

Man, Ghostbusters has such a good trilogy. Can you imagine if they would have remade this franchise with something crazy... like an all female cast of unfunny people outside of one actress that is actually funny. It's like that time that the script for the 8th season of Game of Thrones leaked, and it was SO BAD they were forced to take extra time to rewrite and re-film it so we got the proper end we all deserved.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire comes out in March. I would hold off until the end of the year when all 4 are in the bundle. This will probably be the last one with Ray and Peter.

I've have had MA porting problems before. Usually everything ports almost instantly to every retailer, but I've had times where there have been staggered delays to MA and other retailers. Sometimes the delay can be over an hour.
