Lowe's has that four tool combo kit for an insane $399 right now, with Amazon selling it for $179. $79 is a steal for four tools, two batteries and a charger. I'm not a huge fan of Powercore 20 as a platform, but that's too cheap not to buy, especially since I'm planning on some home renovations in the future.

Both of the screwdrivers are micro USB?

Barbaric.

I believe Costco has the USB C version for $25 or $30.

Funny, just ordered the Denali model that doesn't pivot on Amazon yesterday after watching a YouTube video screwdriver test. Cancelled and ordered the Pivoting for $2 less and $7 less than pivoting on Amazon.

Think I'm gonna go for the multi tool. Already have the hammer drill and grinder. Don't mind if the multi tool is bare since they only would come with a 2AH anyways and I have several chargers already. Grinder is a good deal just for the 4AH battery that's included. Thanks

The little Skil screwdriver is great. Have used it several times the past few weeks actually. The set I have even has specific parts for assembling Ikea / Walmart furniture which is handy.

A cordless rotary hammer for $60 is a great deal. That's lower than the random brand corded ones at Amazon or the Harbor Freight ones.

I got the electric screwdriver with a case and about twenty bits from Sams two years ago for $20. It may not look like much, but I'm certain that has become the most used tool in my house. This isn't the "best" deal on it, but not bad and definitely a good tool.

Yeah, if you don't have any tools, this was a great place to dive in. 4 tool combo is (was) unheard of. I'd have picked up all the other tools, too, since they are all compatible. I'm in the ryobi system.

Any USB is better than the co-ax chargers these things usually come with that I always lose within 3 weeks.

I have a Skil cordless screwdriver with electric power detector and work-LED. It looks like a screwdriver with a slightly larger handle. It has a microUSB charger, which did surprise me a bit. I've only charged it once in the last 6 months. It is used for computer cases, HDDs, and patching extension cords. Extremely light-duty.

Had a Sears cordless screwdriver with one of their pop-in batteries that lasted about 20 yrs, but seemed to always need a charge the last 10 yrs. For light-duty, it was fine. Got my $20 out of it.

I prefer the SKIL quick-change chuck and appreciate the on-target LED light, but wish it had a way to store 2 other tips inside, somewhere. I think the SKIL came with 6-9 tips - they are buried in a drawer somewhere ... effectively useless.

I'd buy the SKIL again for my use, though I wish it has USBc charging and that is was lighter. I do have a calendar reminder to charge it every 6 months. I think that will make the L-Ion battery last longer and prevent full discharge.

Also have a Kline 11-in-1 screwdriver, which gets used when I can't find the Skil. When I was shopping for it, I intended to buy a ratchet screwdriver, but clicked "buy" too fast. Of course, the Skill and Kline tips are incompatible because the Kline socket is deeper.

The one with the current detection is even better imo
