1000 lumens seems like a lot but even then it doesn't seem bright enough.
I don't have a light meter, but I don't think these guys put out the light they claim to.
The auto white based on the time of day is pretty cool.

That said, the Kasa bulbs have had great connectivity for me and work perfectly with Alexa and Hey Google.

I also have the 125 model color bulb but have no use for it yet. I have another outdoor bulb model for the street light from Kasa too.
Most of my bulbs are not in a place that needs tons of lighting like those in the above comments. Most are in use in the morning or evening and full strength isn't wanted.
I've found them to be super easy to set up. If you're doing several and they're located in poor WiFi zones; use a lamp near your router to connect the bulbs with your app and then take them to your rooms where they'll be installed. Same with plugs and other devices.
Also when other people enter the room and they don't know the light is a smart bulb they will turn the light switch off and on to turn it on and when they leave they turn it off. When I get back I have to turn the switch back on 🤷🏻 ♂️
I find it super helpful to have lights come on with a routine. Saves me steps to and from switches. I can either voice command it if they're off too. Really helpful to have all the basement lights come on with a voice command than to walk in the dark flipping switches while trying not to stub your toe on something.
I've yet to set up proximity things yet and probably won't. It's also nice to have the thermostat adjusted when I'm away. I'm not particularly fond of the manual settings on the thermostat though when WiFi is down though. Nest has a clunky, unresponsive control skeme when trying to do it manually.

I find the messing with switches annoying. It's bad enough if voice commands have to be repeated. I don't also want to find out they're sabotaged too. 😒
I'm thinking updates or auto resets and such. Unless you have lots of teens or annoying adolescent kids that live around you messing with stuff, most are too busy to care about what they find on their WiFi signal list.

Interestingly mine have also begun to turn themselves on in the middle of the night about once per month. They never did this before last October, so not sure not sure if it's a firmware bug released around then or something else.
The few smart bulbs that I have go into old school table lamps.
And I agree, they are on the dim side.
That said, 90% of my IoT lights are TP-LINK Kasa, and they all work well.
