ProAudioStar have the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo in black-gold burst for $919.99 (open-box). This is probably the best price on this guitar since the Sam Ash deal.
You been happy with it? I came so close to biting then. Definitely one that has stayed on my radar the past year.
I grabbed a blueburst from this site around Thanksgiving. I have an hb2 piezo CORE model which I love, but I wanted something cheaper to bang around.
Comparison - the neck is very similar, maybe a little slicker because of the finish. Pickups are ok - I haven't felt the need to replace them. The piezo and tuners are fine.
Only two complaints - it's over a pound heavier than my Core - that's a huge disappointment for me. Second complaint - the finish looks beautiful, but it's incredibly thin and fragile. I don't even remember a hit, but I pulled it out of the case a few weeks ago and it had a ding down to wood. No dent, just a chip in the finish on top.
Otoh, for several thousand less, it's a great guitar
This is a great deal. I bought mine "New" from PAS middle of last year for a little over $1k. After reading most peoples' experiences I should have just gone with open box and saved a little more.
Either way, I'm happy with mine overall. It would be awesome if there was a selector switch to more immediately switch between the piezo and HBs - I know people have modded theirs and done things like this but I'm not sure I'm comfortable (or daring) enough to DIY something like that. It would be sweet adding a push pull to split the HBs up too hehe.
I run mine through my Headrush MX5 and, if I want acoustic, will switch to piezo and load an IR of my Collings acoustic on the MX5. It's not *quite* there but it sounds pretty convincing. What I'd really like is the Tonedexter II to capture my Collings and see how the PRS sounds through it. The IR for my Collings I got help creating from the guy who runs this site, http://acousticir.free.fr/, which is an awesome resource for creating your own IRs btw.
Bought this last year from Pro Audio open box and it came damaged. Guitar case was dented & scratches all over the guitar. Complained to Pro Audio and they said it is an open box. I returned it and cost me 20% for the return plus shipping cost. Buyer beware.

Thanks for this. I was under the impression their open boxes were all new, with the box slightly opened, technically be "open box" And allow them to advertise low prices and get rid of inventory

...obviously no use to folks without a time machine, but I hope the wait is going to be worth it
