Based from experience of taking 20+ cruises, dont fall for these 'sale' type gimmicks, set a target price you want to pay per person(and total price) and keep searching on cruise compete and vacations togo, if it gets close to your target price pull the trigger, this way you exactly know how much to spend and lately these sales are not discounted much anymore, it's a trick to sway you into thinking it's a good deal, just my 2 cents.

These initial "deals" are always such a massive sham.
These prices don't include port fees and taxes, which usually double your price. Also don't include gratuities, which are usually $16-$20 per person per day. Your final OTD cruise prices are usually like double or even triple what the original advertised prices are.

Celebrity Cruises is an upscale cruise line (tho not luxury) and is one if the better ones out there. It's more adult friendly and relaxed vs a family cruise line.

Prices are good for you to book on the actual site and not have to pay all the gratuity and stuff up front.

But keep in mind there's never not a sale going on with cruises including this one.
It can be luxury. Depends on cabin and your experience. Having sailed the super lux lines, the only thing your paying the premium for is SPACE and more like minded folks (ie, NOT partiers, not many big families, definitely zero groups of 20 somethings. Nothing to sneer at mind you(!), but for those thinking to splurge and expecting better everything vs Celebrity , you'll be disappointed.

My experience with Celebrity cruise - took Alaska cruise from Seattle last year with Solstice. This cruise is not suitable for kids under 13. Not many activities. We took RCCL cruise the previous year and it was kids friendly. Also the food choices are also not great (considering 7 days in the cruise). Speciality food (especially Indian was challenging too)
It's funny how different people can have such vastly different experiences. Last summer, we also went on the Solstice to Alaska from Seattle. My under 13 kids really enjoyed themselves (one kid spent most of their time in the kids club). We all found the food quite impressive, especially considering how many people they need to feed. And the buffet always had a wide selection of decent Indian choices.

I will agree, if someone is looking for a ship with go karts and water slides, Celebrity is not it. We considered this a plus.

We are looking for Alaska cruise in 2025.
How do I get the best price for 6 rooms?

1. Directly with Celebrity Website?
2. Call Celebrity CSR?
3. Travel agent?
4. Expedia, priceline, etc 3rd party website?
Cruise not the best way to see Alaska IMO . We went through Alaska tour and travel.

I really enjoy cruising, but the industry is so sneaky. Following the fees + taxes and subsidizing the salaries of the people that work on the ship, it doubled the cost of the quoted cruise. Lol!

I got 4 of us on the royal Caribbean harmony of the seas in an ocean view for 7 nights for $2052 total. I'm also receiving a $150 on board credit and a $60 Costco card.
We did Harmony in Dec and loved it. Shows are great especially Grease and Columbus! Great job by the team. Also Cory the cruise director is good. We had him twice in two-years. 1st on allure and now on Harmony. Enjoy! But book all shows asap via app. Once you board....they go fast. Get their early and get front seats. Amazing experience

I love going on cruises, but cruise "deals" are bs. The prices barely change from sale to sale. Source: Best friend worked in cruise industry selling cruises and from going on a ton of cruises.

Give vacationstogo.com a try. I've used them to book cruises a couple of times, and had great experience.
I love this site, I use it all the time to just do basic research to see what's sailing regardless of cruise line.
