This is exactly what I did. From dialing to finishing took 30 minutes (20 on hold).
Just call 1-866-921-7925 and don't bother paying for a code, they will generate it for you.

Pay for a VPN, about $2. Set country to Mexico or the Phillipines. Place order, save at least $200, and avoid having to wait for a $200 paper coupon from costco. profit.

Damn! I just called and they were going to add the code, but I booked in November of last year. Needs to be booked this year.

And now I see why I shouldn't have wavered on getting the Costco citi card. Sucks that you can't apply the code w/out using that card, but I get it. Would have saved me $700 on my upcoming trip instead of the measly $130 card they're offering.

Wondering if I sign up for the card now and call into CS they'd apply the code? Like does it expire on 4/30 per the add? That's plenty of time.

This feels like it would be worth a shot. Worst case is you still have a fairly useful credit card with no annual fee.
