Their scores are pretty on point, this is an old GPU but it can still game pretty well as long as your primarily using 720 resolution. The laptop in gaming terms will run circles around any laptop that does not have a dedicated GPU.

This laptop supports displayport 1.4 over it's usb-c port. Displayport 1.4 supports 4k@120hz and both g-sync and freesync. This is obviously the preferable way to connect an external monitor.

The mobile 2050 is not designed to play modern AAA games, the 4gb vram capacity flat out precludes that possibility. That being said, for older games and indie games it offers acceptable performance. It also supports dlss (deep learning super sampling), which provides an enormous fps boost at the cost of minor artifacting depending on the version and settings used.
The mobile 2050 still beats any igpu currently available in games that don't require more than 4gb of vram, and at only $400 this laptop provides good performance for the price. A meaningfully faster laptop (with a 3060, a 4050 is even more expensive) would be at absolute minimum $600 (50% more expensive).
