Don't hate but does anyone know if this is better than Costco prices (normal and on sale)?

FYI it isn't soap. It's a moisturizer bar. Slight technicality, but they can't legally call it soap and they don't if you look at the Amazon page. Had to learn about this stuff when I started making soap.

I posted more details in the other thread, but I clipped the 20% off on the sensitive skin Dove, then switched to the "original" where there was a 25% coupon. Both coupons came off an order of the original. I didn't try switching back to sensitive to see if both would apply on that one as well.

I was able to replicate this on the "original" but not on the "sensitive".

It's a "Moisturizing Beauty Bar." Essentially it's soap like, except that it uses primarily surfactants rather than the saponification of fats and oils with a strong base (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide). There is some soap in it - the sodium talloate is soap made from cow fat (tallow). So I guess fyi it isn't vegan friendly.

So what does that mean in terms of its cleaning ability? Is it actually "better" and more gentle and moisturizing for your skin compared to regular soap?

I'm not a soap...ologist or whatever the other person is, but this works as well as normal bars of soap for me doesn't cause my sensitive skin to have any dryness or itchiness issues unlike most soaps and body washes I try, especially heavily scented ones. Mild, leaves skin soft and clean, and smells good, whatever it's made of. Great deal, my local CVS is $15 for 10 bars.
