Ok so what is it? 🧐
It's a "Moisturizing Beauty Bar." Essentially it's soap like, except that it uses primarily surfactants rather than the saponification of fats and oils with a strong base (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide). There is some soap in it - the sodium talloate is soap made from cow fat (tallow). So I guess fyi it isn't vegan friendly.
it is around 14.80 in costco right now
So what does that mean in terms of its cleaning ability? Is it actually "better" and more gentle and moisturizing for your skin compared to regular soap?
I'm not a soap...ologist or whatever the other person is, but this works as well as normal bars of soap for me doesn't cause my sensitive skin to have any dryness or itchiness issues unlike most soaps and body washes I try, especially heavily scented ones. Mild, leaves skin soft and clean, and smells good, whatever it's made of. Great deal, my local CVS is $15 for 10 bars.
