This is a Windows on ARM device. This is a curiosity, but their limited success has meant that these aren't inteded to be mainstream daily driver PCs. Windows on ARM is arguably "getting there" in a relative way... but this PC is still primarily for those interested in playing in the Windows on ARM ecosystem and is otherwise not easy to recommend for any practical, daily-driver use case that isn't better served by, for example, a chromebook.

Good luck!

I have this exact model and it works great. Windows 11 took care of most of the compatibility problems, and this thing gets almost twice the battery life of the other ten or so Surface devices I've owned. But it doesn't really matter now, Woot only had one to sell.

"Pro" tip incoming - get it?

Woot has these quite often for a short window of time at this price. I had missed the last one and kept watching. They had these for sale for $465 about two weeks ago but it was listed in the "accessories" category. I was just browsing around, found it and jumped on it. So, I bet they will come back, you may just have to look for them.
