It's happened before and was explained that some people read into the post that the person is trying to gloat that they are such a great person...my take is that the post is a suggestion that maybe those who downvote might go out and buy a few and do the same (and not post about it).

This is the kind of thing where bigger isn't always better. Unless you use this for a blanket on an actual king size bed, it's just too big to use as a blanket on the couch or elsewhere. Too big to wash. Just too big.
Bought one year, we absolutely love it. It fits in a washer, but it's all you'll fit in that load. You will have to remove from dryer and turn to ensure no damp areas are balled up and finish drying. Hasn't been a problem for us.
I bought one on sale around Christmas (gray color-can't remember sale price). My 5 kids absolutely LOVE it and they all are able to huddle together and cozy up comfortably. I went back for another gray color in store last week for $20. It's a bit big when folded so we store it in a large basket. Washing them hasn't been an issue for us but I have very large Samsung machines which helps. Drying it, I like to pause it in between and kind of untangle/fluff back out before popping it back in. My septic is more than fine and that's a non-issue as it's not THAT fluffy.
