Really decent specs for the price, even though the GPU is one gen old being full powered at 140W helps. Too bad the chasis design is so tacky.

I think they are similar but the 4060 has the next generation DLSS I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong

You have DDR5 in your machine now, the one posted is DDR4. The difference between the RX 7700S and the Nvidia 3070 is marginal. The only real advantage I see is the i9. But unless you are doing video editing or something that leans heavy on CPU speed... If I were you I would invest in a fast ssd and maybe see if there's some low latency RAM you can buy. That's how I would spend the difference in price. Short answer keep your laptop.

Thanks. I did a comparison online and it seems like the i9-12900H in this laptop blows the Ryzen 7 7735HS out of the water in almost every aspect of performance. I'm trying to determine if the way better processor, double RAM and double SSD is worth the $200 price increase.

The design is hideous. At least with the slim 5, g14, etc you get normal looking machines.

4060 is better than 3070 for a laptop. RX 7700S is much worse than both.

I would probably keep what you have since you got a great price...but difficult choice since rtx 3070 might be better in some games..and the other specs seem very imprensive.
But I like your Asus form factor better, the ddr5 ram mentioned above, & very slightly smaller dimensions and weight is very slightly lighter.
