Don't buy any factory stuff- gap, BR or Jcrew. I've made the mistake and it's all junk. One time use and then it loses shape and looks like trash.

Do you all feel this way for items that are basic and where the material makeup is known? Same % cotton, same looking shirts as "non-factory" and totally same "meh ok" quality as I see in the regular GAP store in person. I used to buy Gap Factory items and they were trash. I was told that I should buy Gap not the Gap factory. I purchased Gap and they only lasted 3 months before fading. Then I was told that I should buy Banana Republic as it is the premium brand in that brand group. Well I purchased Banana Republic and it lasted only a summer before deforming and fading. I can't even imagine their lower quality "factory" version. This brand group is spiraling down in terms of quality so STAY AWAY

I'll go against the crowd here and say that Factory line for Gap and BR is great especially considering the price. Got really nice jeans for $10 and tons of great shirts, blazers, suits and sweaters for pennies. Great value for money imho

for ppl thought banana republic factory was the outlet of banana republic, that was wrong. They are two separate subsidiary companies of Gap Inc. Banana Republic Factory clothing, although of decent quality for the price, is usually made in lower-quality materials compared with Banana Republic clothing. In other words, you get what you pay for.
