I own this guitar in Cobra Burst, paid about $1050 w/ tax for brand new and I admit I would have absolutely *killed* to get it at this price. It's nice, had all the features I wanted and the shape is my favorite.

Only thing was the quality wasn't as impeccable as some of my other guitars in this price range. Before the first restring I really had to polish the frets as they didn't feel very good. I also wish it had an arm contour, but it plays really nicely otherwise.

The $1500 MSRP is kind of inflated if only because the actual EBMM Sabre is a popular guitar, even more so now with Rabea Massaad's new signature Sabre having been released.
