My use case: I like to dust both sides of thick, center cut bacon with this before cooking it on sheet trays in the oven.

we got a bourbon seasoned maple syrup
when it sale at costco a few months back
and sadly stopped using it after one tasting.

point being adding bourbon flavoring
may not have the mass appeal one assumes
so if you use this for guests, maybe leave a
few items - bourbon free...

I don't find this to be particularly "bourbony." We like to use it on pork tenderloin with a side of bourbon sweet potatoes, now those are "bourbony." Pretty cheap to try it, especially if you need a filler for s&s. Looks like it's sold out though.
