The eMMC seems to be replaceable with a M.2 2240 SSD. This is a great price for the specs, especially for the 2.5K quality display (though unfortunately non-touch)
It's not a convertible - the Flex 5i Chromebook Plus can flip over but it only has 60Hz screen.
Allstate is hit or miss on how easy their warranty repair/replacement is.

The Acer 516 Chromebook refurbished by Acer has been around this price and is currently about $50 more. It has a similar screen and keyboard with a better processor (i5) and 256gb SSD.
