That doesn't say lifetime. That's the same verbiage all the PMs have (max 2 for gold)

Why is this a better investment than a certificate right now that pays 5% APY?

Certificate gives you guaranteed 5%.
If Inflation for 2024 is 20%, you lose 15%.
If silver goes up with inflation, you are at par, versus the guaranteed 5%.

So, if inflation gets worse, and a McDonalds burger goes up again, the stock market goes up again like it did 30% in 2023, and silver goes up 30%, you technically got poorer by 25% holding a certificate.

If inflation holds, and burger prices hold, silver holds... then you lost 5%.

According to today's price that leaves you with negative 20 after 4% cb and before taxes

Both offers were on my email. The first one was from Jan 2 with the subject "You have MORE categories to choose from right now." where you can click through then choose your category, which includes Wholesale. And the second one I received a couple times so far, this last one was Feb 1 with the subject like"...activate this limited time offer and get 6 month financing on eligible purchases made outside of Best Buy."

  • Can anyone recommend quality single Clear Acrylic Plastic Coin Capsules for these American Eagle Silver dollars ?
  • I see a lot of these offered, but a lot of reviews state they're cheap, they made with PV, break easy, silver eagles rattle around/capsule isn't 40.6mm to fit silver eagles, isn't secure….
  • I'd prefer one's that snugly fit the dollar, are air tight and don't have foam holding rings so you can see the coin's edge.
… Thanks

This is my first purchase of this type. The costco gold had me intrigued, so I took the plunge on these coins. Can anyone let me know if I should leave the tube sealed, or is it ok to open. I know I will want to open to look at them, but not sure if that is wise.
