Anyone outside of Amazon reviews have good experience with this specific kit? May be worth replacing the cheapo Ryobi 144.pack I got a long time ago that's still kicking. Already converted over to Makita's titanium hex shank impact drill bits and loving the quality on those so far.

To save anyone the trouble of scrolling through all those rebates, this pirchase gets you the "Impact XPS8 10 Pc. 3/8"
Drive 6-Point Impact
Socket Set w/ Standard
Socket Adapter" in either metric or SAE measurements. It's a whopping $15.47 value. 🤣 Not gonna lie, until I realized I needed to find this actual item, I thought the rebate was for the drill on the very top lmao.

I gotten these years ago and actually used them at work (historical preservation and restoration timber frames and some finish carpentry). They last a while, but depends on intensity of usage. I find the XPS to be better, but these are great too (only downside is the 2" bits don't hold nicely in Makita's OEM two bit holders). The only issue with these gigantic kits is that you may end up never using a bunch of the bits but they're good value and handy to have around when you most need it.

I have this. The bit holder is in the 2" but case even though it's not supposed to be used with those bits. This really annoys me.

Edit: but overall this is a good kit for the value. I haven't destroyed any bits yet but the main ones I use are T25, T30, and PH2 for wood work.

These are ok quality bits but nothing special.

XPS line is far better/tougher.

I feel like this is a fair price for this set if you need or can use the quantity, I bought it once at this price or pretty close and was generally underwhelmed and moved up to XPS, much happier but I'm the type who doesn't mind having fewer, better bits and holders, vs just blowing through and tossing cheap ones, 🤷 ♂️

I have these ImpactX and XPS. As others said, XPS are better, but so far the ImpactX are doing fine. For the price, it's nice to get this many bits. Don't use the extender with the 2" bits as they will get permanently stuck. Otherwise, very good value for the price (and much better than Ryobi bits).

So how does this compare to the set posted 2 days ago with the rebate because I already bought that one. 😑

The rebate actually is for the E-01703 set, which is Impact XPS® 8 Pc. 1/4" Drive 6‑Point SAE Impact Socket Set w/ Standard Socket Adapter
