I don't know whether or not the toner cartridge will be new. One commenter on another Brother laser printer from the Walmart Restored program received a new cartridge in its original foil.

Brother monochrome laser printers are a great deal, last forever, and the toner is cheap. 👍

I said goodbye to color printers about ten years ago and never missed them for a single second.

We went through myriad color printers that were expensive and had problems; but our 11-year old networked monochrome Brother MFC is still as good as new, and we have a Brother HL-1440 monochrome laser printer that's 22 years old (22!!!) and has moved to 8 different dorm rooms. It's slow. It's not networked. But it won't die.
