You're acting as if $700 is a lot. This is a business laptop. It's not for graphic design. The screen specs are fine for it's purpose. This is an excellent price for the hardware.

I agree. An excellent price for: Nano-SIM Card Slot, 86 WHr Battery,
Fingerprint Reader, 32GB of RAM, and AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U

The only drawback is a pretty decent screen (color gamut).

This particular model does not come with a nano-SIM slot. It clearly says 'optional ports (configured)' above it.

those are connected to a dock 90% of the time, that's the reason why business laptops usually have a mediocre display

I agree with you 100%.
Although it's personal or business choice so also understood others' comments. At the end of the day its Your money and Your decision.
Personally it's a hard pass for me. I can't look at 45% screen.

Anyone know the battery life of normal usage?

Edit: after doing some research it looks like 56kWh version gets 5 to 6 hours. So this should get 8sih.
