I always used Neosporin, thanks to OP I checked the difference, apparently dermatologists recommend Polysporin due to possible reactions from Neosporin. https://www.newportbeachdps.com/p...neosporin/

Yah I think polysporin is the same but has 1 less antibiotic (neomycin) which may slow healing at the skin level especially if used incorrectly.

This is a little better than neosporin (bad for you!). Neosporin causes tissue irritation and can cause a nasty allergic reaction. I always suggest using aquaphor or Vaseline. You don't need antibiotics for every cut! If you want to use antibiotics just use bacitracin you can get it cheap at Walmart

My doctor gave this for a minor wound procedure I had last year. Never used it before and it helped with healing. Probably shouldve used this for years prior for minor cuts and scrapes too. Probably wouldve helped avoid scarring or dark spots from healing

Horrid price.

As mentioned a 0.33oz tube of triple antibiotic ointment is $1.25 everyday at dollar tree.

If you're going to pay more, get the version with pramoxine. It works fairly well as a local anesthetic to reduce pain and itching.
