Just buy V11 vacuum on eBay without any attachments then buy a stick separately and also get v15 Laser head separately which compatible with V11. My total for everything was $230. Laser head feature is a game changer. V11 vacuum was $110 and v15 head was $90. Amazing value
I like the vacuums but I learned my lesson purchasing a refurbished. Shortly after the refurbished 'warranty' expired, the battery turned useless. I think my unit came with an old used battery.
I ended up getting an adapter to use some of my power tool batteries on it.
Can any of these handle husky fur? Only need it on hardwood floors.
I've had very fluffy Australian shepherds and our current border collie mix sheds like there's no tomorrow, I'm betting she's part husky. Our V11 handles everything perfectly. We also have 3 cats.

Thanks for the response! My biggest issue with my current cheapo stick vac is the roller is constantly getting clogged up.

I surprisingly haven't had that issue with our Dyson. It can get clogged where the fur would go into the waste cylinder, but that's easy to clean out. I highly recommend one for fluffy animals!

Bought a v7 some time ago from a SD sale. Never again. worked ok for several months and then had battery issues where it would die in less than 5 minutes. bought a replacement battery. seemed ok for a bit but went back to the same issue. been on LG cordless for 2+ years and will never go back to a Dyson again. just sharing my experience.

Has anyone used an off brand tool battery with battery adapter for dyson stick vacs?
How well did it work and what type?

Haven't specifically used a battery adapter for a Dyson, but I've used them for almost every tool brand I own (Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi, Kobalt) and they work exactly as intended.
For instance, I'm currently using a Kobalt battery on a Ryobi tire inflator and the tool and battery work happily together. I can't see there being any issue doing this with a Dyson vac.

It can be the problem. Vacuum can overheat.

309 - 20% = 247
BTW for reference, I bought the v8 absolute in November 2023 for 220 - 15% off coupon. This time around they aren't including it in the coupon...
