Thanks, I ordered a pair. Hope they fit my big noggin. If not, will return to the Costco down the road.
Costco is not accepting returns since you ordered it from Anker Direct through Costco Next. For this reason I ordered it from another place with price match for hassle returns.

I have the Q30's and they are one of the few headphones that fit me comfortably without too much clamping pressure on my ears. I read in Rtings that the Q35's had more pressure. What about the Q45's.

I had to return the Sony XM4's for that reason -- I could not wear them for more than 30 minutes before I started getting a headache.

I'm glad they worked for you, but HIGHLY disagree on the quality on the ANC. I alternate these with a pair of Airpods Pro, and while I need to turn on transparency to hear anything on the Pros, these have almost no affect on conversation.
IMHO, conversation is not noise. If nothing can be heard, that is sound cancelling, not noise cancelling.

I also tried with XM4s with the same outcome. Clamping force and ANC pressure were too much. These are better in both areas, but it comes at the expense of ANC.

Conversation is one of the three (also mechanical and explosive) primary rubrics noise cancelling headphones are measured against. It is the reason every open office is full of people wearing them.

Seems to have slightly less clamping force but weighs a tiny bit more.

I have these and I must say this is an absolute steal.

Pros: the ANC is top notch. I was on a plane recently where a kid cried the entire flight. I didn't hear a peep. I only know because the people around me were like, "you didn't hear him. Those are great headphones."

Sound is great and clear. Listened to music and sounded great.

The app is very helpful and user friendly.

Fits great.

Cons: it might be alittle bulky but honestly it's not a big deal.

For 80 bucks I almost feel like returning mine and getting it at 80 but you can't go wrong with these. Totally top notch.
Did you have audio playing the entire time while on the flight or were you wearing it purely to block the noise around? I'm curious how well ANC works with and without audio playing. I got the Q20 and with no audio playing, it's as if ANC is not enabled, I can hear EVERYTHING around me. But once I play music, that definitely takes care of any noise still noticeable otherwise.

Where did you price match at? Amazon currently has them for $130 after a $20 coupon. I'm curious if I can get them to price-match.

Edit: nvm, just realized they don't price match when requested.

I bought Sony wh-1000mx5 from ebay deal a week ago for $200+tax. While sony is great, unfortunately my head and ears are getting tired and starting to hurt after 20-30 min. I ordered this Anker qc45 to compare.
Look at Misodiko earpads. They're thicker so your ear won't bottom out and hit the speaker.

I was going to return my Q45, and then I tried this. They went from absolute muddy trash to as good as my 1000xm3
Glad it helped. HearID is hearing aid diagnostic tech. Most people have some kind of hearing loss, and it compensates for that in the tones it uses. Completely accurate sound of the higher end B&O or Bose brands don't matter if you can't hear it in the first place. Even if you think you have great hearing, odds are one side of your head is compensating for the other. And you can see it in the composite equalizer wave.
It's going to be interesting when they integrate onboard AI/Live voice translation into headphones. They are already doing this with hearing aids.

Yes I did have music playing. Honestly wouldn't wear them just to block out noise with no music.

I have a pair. I like mine.

Closest to a set of flagship Bose you can get under $100.00

My ears start to sweat after a few hours of listening.
