First, bumping your own posts is not good. The fact that SDers are not reacting pretty much shows how good (actually not) the deal you posted is.

This is the least desirable Omega from the entire lineup. It will hold no value, and it does not even look like Omega. You are better off buying Tag ,Ball, or Sinn with this money. Oh, and while you are at it, avoid Jomashop like a plague.

It absolutely is a great deal for an entry level Omega watch. Clearly desirable as Omega has made almost a dozen variations of this style. To each their own.

I have bought watches from Jamashop before. The reviews speak for themselves. https://www.jomashop.com/reviews....OZEALw_wcB

You are reading Jomashop reviews on Jomashop site??? Way to get an objective advice.

For others who are still curious: Joma is like a used car dealership. They sell you a watch (or whatever else they sell), and it will probably be not broken. That's it. If there are any issues with it or the shipping - you are on your own.

As for the DeVille being a desirable model... It is not. Just check the respectable watch forums to see how many Devilles are there and how many Speedmasters and Seamsters are there. Or Planet Oceans and anything in between. Comarping with Ford, it is like Ford Pinto while there are many F150 or Broncos or Explorers that are indeed desirable

Love how people come on here and bash a deal when a month ago this very watch was a Popular deal (+17 thumbs up) for more money than what it is now.

You can no doubt get a more popular, way more expensive Omega watch, but if you are looking for an entry level Omega watch, you can't beat this price. Bought from Jamashop before, along with thousands of other people with ZERO issues.

Yes it's Omega's cheapest watch, but it's still an Omega, along with its prestigious name. If you don't like the style, move on to another watch post!

The bottom line is, you don't see a brand new Omega watch below $2k very often!

I've had no issues with Jomashop. What issues have you had with them?

Even these reviews are not bad if you read them. Mostly people complaining about things they should know. They are complaining about Jomashop because they don't get the manufactures warranty. What person who buys watches from a grey market dealer doesn't know that? If you want a factory warranty, buy from an authorized dealer! simple. These people want to be at grey market prices and get authorized dealer warranty. That's not the way it works. I want a used Ferrari, but I want a new car warranty at a used car price. Good luck. That's the trade off. You didn't know this?
The good part is, a quality watch will rarely have any issues.

Jomashop is heavily promoted by SD. if you pay attention, you will notice that any Jomashop deal instantly makes FP even when the score rating is low. This is because Jomashop chosen to invest in SD Marketing more than to invest in their own Customer Service and post-sales support.

I expressed my opinion about the watch you posted which is backed up by my multiple years of watch collecting. So it is a first hand knowledge. You don't have to like it, it's just there. Check respectable watch forums and see for yourself how many Devilles are offered and sold there and how popular are they.

As for Jomashop - I had personal experience with them - twice. Both times it was bad and both times I warned them that I will make it known to the largest number of people that I can. Both times they laughed at my face.

Jomashop is dutifully working to scrape bad reviews from everywhere. To summarize:
  • I had personal encounters with Jomashop - twice. Both times I got the desired outcome after third party intervened (ebay in one case; a credit card in another)
  • Joma has genuine merchandise but this is where it ends. They will not hesitate to send you a returned watch that misses some bracelet links, or has tags removed. They will promptly blame you for doing exactly this if you request the return and then deny the return. This is my first-hand experience.
  • Joma customer service is non-existent. You have to leave a message multiple times before someone calls you back.
  • Joma so-called warranty is a joke. If something happens with your watch and you ship it to them to fix - they will hold it forever; scratch it worse or damage otherwise. Don't believe me, just go over reddit or WUS
  • If you are OK with all of the above - buy from Joamshop, no problem. I would prefer Ashford or Watchmaxx (very positive encounters dealing withh both)

Yeah, I can see the possiblity of that happening. I can't say of often it happens, but apparently something happened with you. Missing pieces would surprise me. I've only had to contact customer service a couple of times and it was through email as I recall, and there was no problem getting what I needed done. I've never used their warranty and would avoid it myself. Low end watches that I've purchased would have been returned if I was able to. I've never had to, and I've purchased a few. High end watches would have gone to the manufacture for repair. I figured $1000 if I had to get it repaired, but I think I purchased them for close to $3,000 below what I could buy them for. So I took the chance. I didn't have to return either Panerai or Rolex. I cancelled an Omega PO without issue. I've also purchased from Ashford. No issues there either. Sending in watches for service or repair to the manufacture can/will take forever. Nothing new there. Many of the complaints on your links were about the warranty not being from the manufacture. I guess they don't know what grey market is.

Thumbs up on Omega watch price and coupon. Im going to pass though. 30 meter water resistant??? I mean if even $100 watches get 100 meters why wouldn't you have basic stuff covered??? Thumbs up however on price and coupon.
