As someone who goes thru 3-4 kilos a month I appreciate this deal, however Amazon knows this and I rarely get a coupon! Great coffee for the price and only comparable price/taste/roast date is the Kirkland from Costco. The house blend mixed 50/50 with espresso makes a fine brew.

60% Arabica and 40% Robusta.

I know there are people out there that like Robusta but I don't. Nor do I know anyone who does. It is just a very very different "flavor" profile and I would never pay for it, personally.

In 2023/24, global Robusta coffee production amounted to about 74 million 60 kilogram bags. I could be off here but apparently…
a "few" people must like this stuff. lol

This coffee's not that bad. I've had it myself multiple times. Although I only use it to make espresso and lattes. And occasionally Americano.

I'm curious if anyone uses this blend for pour over / drip coffee maker?

This is actually a very helpful comment. Wouldn't expect my Slickdeals buddies here to know the difference, but robusta coffee is cheap and tastes like Folgers instant.

It was a helpful comment that mentioned relevant information for purchase consideration, and he mentioned his preference. What's wrong with that? I don't see why this should offend you or anyone. He didn't insult the flavor, just mentioned it's different, and it is (if you're used to Arabica)

Personally, I enjoy robusta's for milk espresso drinks, but not for pour over.

I thought That other persons comment was unhelpful. Because it was a broad stroke generality.

There are plenty of people who like their espresso (and milk based drinks) with a robusta beans blend. There's more to it than just saying a robusta bean taste like crap or taste like Folgers instant. There is a roasting process. There is the quality of beans themselves.

But everyone likes what they like based on their taste buds.

Just like Arabica, Robusta comes in different qualities. And the instant process Folgers uses is very destructive and creates a lot of bad flavor compounds that aren't indicative of a better roast like Lavazza would do

Edit - Most Robusta on the market is bad, but there are some high quality Robustas coming from places like India. I haven't done my research on these beans specifically but I'm assuming / hoping they are sourcing the quality stuff

I've tried other high quality Robusta blends for pour over and was not a fan (it was serviceable, but not my preference). Espresso & milk drinks only for me

If you just got the 6 pack of lavazza deal and used the 35% off then it might not work again, but make sure you haven't.

But try to go thru to the end even if you don't see the coupon, bc I don't have it either but it still gets applied in my cart right before hitting subscribe...I have the 35% off and 15% off S&S, getting each bag at $9... It's $54 total for me for 6 bags, and I don't see the coupon to click, but I did have to go delete the last deal for this I had added to subscribe & save but it hasn't shipped so I just went and canceled that order and subscription bc I remember using the 35% off on it, but the coupon didnt pop back up to press, but it was applied in the cart....so give it a try.
