OP here.
Received my brick today. Not gonna lie, after seeing all the negative comments, I was a bit worried about quality. Now what I'm seeing is a 5-star product. Not a bit loose. They gave a suction cup as well, which I'll probably never need to use. Charging my laptop at a full 65W.

Your comment cannot be blank.

Featured Comments

I find this size does not stay plugged into a wall outlet well. A little movement of the cord can cause it to fall out, so I have to be careful it's undisturbed and still charging.
If you want the best deal on this model, I recommend selecting the Amazon Warehouse "Like New" one which is always $28.

But do think hard about whether this model is what you really need. If you have to charge 3-4 devices simultaneously on the go, and none need more than 45W, then this does the job (though it's a clunky older model that needs the included brace to keep it from falling out of many wall sockets).

If you only have a couple of devices to charge, then consider the more sturdy and more compact 65W Anker 715 [amazon.com] for less money. It has only one port, but it'll quick charge your laptop or your phone, and you can still charge multiple devices simultaneously by plugging them into your laptop's USB or Thunderbolt ports. To me, that's the ultimate compact travel charger.
Came here to say just that. Especially problematic on a plane. I much prefer 715 -- while it only has a single port, the proportions are right.

This thing is 65w total, or 65w max on 1 usb-c, which means if you plug in 2 devices, max is 45w on usb-c, not enough to charge even an Inspiron 15, and won't be enough to charge MacBook pro at full wattage.

Who needs to charge full wattage all the time? Most of the time you are just topping off or maintaining while charging your phone. The few times you need to be at full wattage, just don't charge the second device. I have 2 similar chargers as this with same specs. From my extensive travel experience, I have never found myself wishing I could full wattage 65w for the laptop and charge my phone. In reality, the times I need to use all 3 ports is usually overnight, in which case the slower the better.

Have one for over a year and going to buy a second. In old outlets that are loose it has a hard time staying in but they come with a brace for that. Overall great purchase

i have that, and for a few months. no issues whatsoever, but not plugging into planes. It comes with a base that supposedly makes it sturdier on a wall but I've never found the need to use it.

As usual very solid charger from Anker. Two PD and one Type-A is just about perfect for travel use. But as others have mentioned the weight can be an issue on looser wall plugs. I usually keep this in my suitcase for hotel use and take the 30W Nano II (Anker 711) for the on-the-go/backup.

If an outlet is that worn that this charger falls out, you probably need to replace the outlet as it's a fire hazard. (yes, outlets are wear items and no they don't last forever)

I have this charger along with a 737 (120w) and a Prime 67w...both of which cost significantly more than this sale price. If you're just charging a single device and worried about size more than cost the GaN Prime 67w is amazing and compact.

Otherwise this is a super solid travel charger for a laptop + phone + accessory and you can't beat it for the price.

ps. anyone who still worries about anker quality - i have several powerline+ cables (old red ones) from back as far as 2016 and not a single one has died. My GF recently found a bad USB-C to C cable. Quick support ticket and they sent me a 2-pack replacement the next day.

I can't replace outlets in airports, airplanes, hotels and offices while traveling... they usually don't like that. šŸ”ŒšŸ’”šŸ˜ I have many Anker and other chargers. This oblong model just isn't ideal for travel unless you plug it in vertically as shown in most of the pics.

A multi-port 65W charger is good if your PC runs off a 45w adapter currently. 65w multi-USB charger like this will not be ideal for a PC designed for a 65W adapter if it also needs to charge a phone/tablet. Your PC may display an insufficient power message in some cases.
