But Roku wouldn't let me sign-up with a temp email address (that works just fine at places like SD) and required me to use a WiFi connection even though I have an ethernet cable plugged into the TV. Too much hassle. So I returned it.

The email thing is unfortunate. But you could just make a new email the normal way, or use Gmail's alias feature

As for email address, yes, of course I could have worked around it. BUT I shouldn't have had to,
Anyone have any opinions on which one is best to get or if any of them are a really good deal?
With the others, you can get downgraded to basic 5.1 or just stereo depending on what the broadcaster is sending out.
This doesn't matter if you are listening on your TV speakers or a 2.1 soundbar.
