If you had an account with AAA in the past, it's a pain in the ass to coordinate this promo. I made the mistake of logging in with my old credentials on their website and it activated it on T-Mobile's end but not on AAA's side.
There's no cooperation between the two but going in person to an actual AAA branch and explaining the situation is what I had to do to get it fixed.

When they arrive after waiting on a side of a dark road for 6 hours, unless you have the Plus membership, they will only tow your car just few miles away or will charge you $200 and they ask for TIP.
Unless your car is junk and need tow every week or month, get rental car road side assistance for better peace of mind.
