The 1-yr AAA membership a one time benefit. If you used it last year when it first came out then you do not get the free benefit for successive years. You do, however, get an endless(!) supply of mailings from AAA asking you to renew/rejoin and then also join the AAA life insurance programs and I'm pretty sure I ended up on other snail mailing lists because of this.

Does not work on prepaid accounts.

Well dang, you answered my question before I even asked, lol. Bummer that it doesn't work on prepaid though. I miss out on so much stuff with that.

I tried to get this last year, but somehow it didn't work.
I called Tmobile CSR and explained them. They happily credited my account for $60 (around 1 year AAA membership fee).

PS: I am 10+ year Tmobile customer. So may be that's why.
Are you Simple Choice? My account was rejected. I'm 14 years with 5 lines.

Auto renews for $83+ if you don't cancel. That's where they get you.
You can turn the auto renew off after you get your membership. Or extend your membership.

Weird. I am an existing customer. Typed in my name and zip code and it says thanks your all set. I logged into my aaa account and no change
Contact aaa, customer service, the last for the code, and then they'll extend your agreement. Or give you a new agreement if you don't have one.

Is it good to have AAA? I already have my auto insurance through statefarm
AAA is not auto insurance, although I think they have it, it's the American Automobile Association which does everything from provides a tow truck and a ride if you need it to gas enough to get you to the gas station to other perks and benefits. It's pretty good for being free here. I pay for it and as if my but several times especially with flats. Tow trucks are expensive these days.

Sorry, it appears your account is ineligible for this promotion. Your denial reason is:
Looks like your current rate plan is not eligible for this promotion. For help, T-Mobile customer dial 611 from your handset or call 1-800-937-8997.

Yep! I'm pretty sure that's the only thing I got out of the membership. Spam

Is it also one per lifetime of the account? Cause I was able to take advantage of this last year but when I try and redeem this I just get an error message.

EDIT: Nevermind, I seem another post explaining as much.

IMHO, AAA is only worth it if you have an older car and travel a lot, where the towing benefit becomes more important, although you need to upgrade to another tier to get more towing mileage. I did a gift card offer a few years ago that made Premier like $25 for the year, prior to taking a 1000 mile road trip in our old van just in case I needed it towed back home.

For most people, check in with your insurance. For State Farm I think I pay about $10/yr for two cars for roadside assistance and basic towing coverage.

I have 5 lines under my account and was told from AAA, after I use one the next year I can use another line. I was very clear when asking this question

BEWARE: As the 1-year offer nears the end, they will not let you cancel.

3 weeks ago I navigated to their website to cancel, was instructed to call a number.
I was on hold for 35 minutes before abandoning the call.
Am currently disputing the renewal charge with my CC.
I had no problem. If I recall, I set it to cancel/not renew right from the start. When the 1 year ended the service ended and I did nothing more. I did receive several offers, and even a pretty good discount offer by mail to renew.
