"Also available with select graphics configurations , the Vapor Chamber and Element 31 thermal interface material"
Does this configuration have it?
Checked the Dell Website for this and found out the below info: "Vapor Chamber and Element 31 thermal interface material only available on NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 and above."
So, this model should have it.
Both Amazon and Google. Large percentage claim there are issues with heat.
P.s. I love how I get thumbs down for providing information and asking a question
Amazon reviews on that page are kind of mixed as they clubbed all reviews from different models like Dell G16 which you can select on that page .
Notebookcheck.net has reviewed the Intel version with HX CPU which consumes far more power and as per the review, it was slightly warmer but nothing extraordinary. Check that https://www.notebookcheck.net/Del...585.0.html

Reviews are pretty bad on this one. Any anecdotal feedback? Some say it gets to 93+ degrees on a light load.
Not the best quality. I bought the g15 about nov 2021, I already had the motherboard replaced. Just last week, I had the motherboard have another issue not detecting the ssd drives(I added one in). I had to buy a usb adapter m2 and put the drive inside to boot off of. I would not recommend.
Can someone recommend if a ASUS TUF is better or a different brand is more reliable in quality?
I want to spend under $1000.

The version you bought is 2 years old series, not same as this one. Now if you want other brand, Asus TUF 2023 model is a pretty solid laptop the RTx 4070 model with 12700H and 16GB DDR4, goes on regular sale on Best Buy around 1k mark.
