For skeptics, yes, you can get a decent monitor for less, but those of us mac users who need color accuracy and high resolutions, none can compare on Mac. Apple owns the vertical and these 'just work' without connection issues. I use several and would never go back.

This model with height adjustability is the way to go, for better posture and placing the monitor on better heights for work, especially if you're tall.

Cheaper to get a adjustable chair to make up for "height issues" and stick with the base model.

I don't think it comes off easily.

Really the way to go is to buy the VESA mountable version for 1299 (on sale at BB currently) and get a reasonably priced clamp mount for more flexible positioning of the screen.

Yup, the quality Slick Deals forums-audience did exactly what I thought they would, fail to see my point. This product is a niche one, but at least I helped one person. Still, why should we even bother participating when so much of the audience is skewed towards scalping and shutting down anything not specifically for them personally?
