What exactly does this comment even mean? As a Californian I am glad they raised the limit to 5 so that you can purchase over the sales tax threshold.

In most of the prior Costco bullion Slickdeals posts Californians were complaining that bullion always get taxed, but in reality most states don't tax it, and that it is a state dependent tax.

Ok, I was one of those Californians complaining. However my specific complaint was the limit 2 which wouldn't allow me to buy over the $2000 threshold. They have since adjusted to limit 5. Hoping they put eagles back up at $519.99 a tube. I passed when it was limit 2 as paying sales tax on bullion is a fools errand and should be illegal.

I'm hoping the next batch of Eagles will be cheaper since silver spot price took a nose dive today.
