Just fyi, i just measured my individual theater chairs from Sams Club (from about 6 years ago) and the (inside armrest to inside armrest) width is right at 24" so these are the same width. I'm a big guy and fit nicely (can only say width wise since i dont have these costco ones).

Oh good the armrests don't pull up so you can't hyperfixate on whether to move it up and try to hold your dates hand.
