Just fyi, i just measured my individual theater chairs from Sams Club (from about 6 years ago) and the (inside armrest to inside armrest) width is right at 24" so these are the same width. I'm a big guy and fit nicely (can only say width wise since i dont have these costco ones).

Real theater seats have 'seat shakers' for bass
I have about $600 invested in the transducers and amp for my love seat, If that was included in the price at $1500 that'd make them an absolute steal. That said, they really do make movies more immersive and make the output of my subwoofers (Which I've turned down to about 10% to appease a whiny neighbor) seem MUCH louder with the couch vibrating at the same frequency.

Sounds like you'd be getting yourself a seat warmer there as well.
Helps keep the leather moist and supple.

Don't go with leather of theater is in basement. It will be too cold to sit in winter.

Thanks for sharing this info. I ordered these without looking into this so it's good to hear that they aren't too narrow. I also just took a look at the measurements for the Barcalounger recliner on the Costco site and that has a 24" arm rest to arm rest width as well

This sounds awesome! Dumb question but does this require a wire to run from your seats to your sub? I looked up some DIY bass shaker options and that $600 price seems about what it would cost to add these but I'm concerned about wires because I have 3 crazy doodles

They make universal wireless transmitters, so even if the sub you're using is wired, for like $20 you can make it wireless.

That wouldn't work for the transducers at all.

Here's how I have mine configured:
I have my receiver - Yamaha RX-A660 with one of the subwoofer output going to my Monlith 15, with a XLR cable from one sub to the other. The other sub out port is going to an old amplifier I had laying around, a Rotel 2 channel in my case. The Rotel amp has each channel wired to the transducers. (Earthquake MQB1's currently cheap at amazon $145)

I'm running the cables under a rug across my room, straight under my couch to the tranducers on the back. They GREATLY increase the feeling of the bass, I have incredibly capable subwoofers being the Monolith M15 and the Monolith M215, bought them at a stellar price. I needed to find a way to "feel the bass" while turning the bass wayyyyyyyy down so the neighbor doesn't cry. Well worth the invesment, hell I'd even say you could get a much less capable sub and let the transducers do most of the work if you can't go loud.

I take that partially back, you could probably use a wireless input into the amplifier that runs the transducers and position it closer to the couch, though that would seem to pointless in this use case I believe.
