Just fyi, i just measured my individual theater chairs from Sams Club (from about 6 years ago) and the (inside armrest to inside armrest) width is right at 24" so these are the same width. I'm a big guy and fit nicely (can only say width wise since i dont have these costco ones).

As I've upgraded throughout the years, these have always been standouts. I've moved them from a Costco couch (which is still working) to Costco HT chairs. One of Zayne has issues reclining. I had to replace two within a week in store. I've only had them for two years. I'm probably going to return my three and give these chairs a shot. Major pain in the butt
Would you recommend 3, 1 per seat or is that overkill for these seats? I imagine they could be turned down and balanced but just looking for input to balance price performance

It has to be one per seat, depending on the suspension of the couch. I had a reclining sofa before, so I originally tried two. It just shook the middle. For a reclining sofa or an HT chair it needs to be mounted to a rigid frame connected to each seat.

Be sure where the vinyl is- if it's connected to where you're sitting, or on the armrests it will break down over time. So, for example, if the top of the seat cushion and the seatback are leather and the rest is vinyl, the front, back and sides of the seat cushion will eventually crack, then start to shed as it flexes when weight is applied, then removed.

The foam on these chairs gets too soft/plush within couple months from there on wards seats doesn't give needed support and they get soft that, you need someone's help to get out from them.

Definition of leather grain and vinyl is wherever your body touches the rest is vinyl.

Those are bonded leather, not top grain with vinyl match -- definitely a big difference!

Anyone have any luck with lower priced alternatives from wayfair? Isn't imitation leather sometimes better for durability? Seems much more cost effective for something that gets occasional use.
