Less than half of normotensive people have blood pressure sensitivity to salt. So, for most people salt is not a significant factor in high blood pressure, but it might be relevant for those recommended a low salt diet. You can easily cut some of the salt intake by not drinking the sauce at the end.

yes the best-by date is listed in this post and on the product page. that said, i have a box of these that i didn't finish before they "expired" and they still taste just as good as new
