yes, I cancelled the service on same day. unlock was done with chat and canceling the service was by phone. planning to give it to my dad who is going to use it on Verizon
Reflash the unlocked phone and see the difference ... select XAA version and reflash .. you will find way better performance then Spectrum Stock Firmware on the phone.
How to reflash the unlocked phone? Thanks in advance

Did you cancel the service immediately after unlock?
after unlocking, i ported the numbers to metro and grabbed free A15s, just pay $40 mobile plan for 30 days... storing them for the next round of trades at spectrum. LOL

it's been 3 rounds (s23 saga, flip5/fold5 saga, and the recent s24 saga) and they havent addressed yet, so I dont even think they care.... as in the end, they still get to report "new numbers" and revenue sales. lol

Yes its a win win situation. They get new customers and sell more phones.
Does Spectrum prorated the month if service is cancelled in the middle of the cycle?
Seems like I will have to pay 3 months of mobile service after the 60 days is up before I can request to unlock phones.
Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you

No, I cancelled the service yesterday and the line will be active till the end of the billing cycle.
I am having a bad luck requesting an unlock through Chat. They kept telling me that the device must be on the account at least 60 days. I thought they can unlock it even if it was off the account as long as it was activated once by the 60 days mark.

Did you put the sim back in or activated the esim before requesting unlock?
Try different agent, do online chatting, give them IMEI #

Yes I did put the phone back to my line on Apr 14 before I requested an unlock/. Bought it on Feb 10 and activated on the same day. I upgraded on Feb 20 so it was removed on my line. 4 different chat CSRs kept telling me I only activated it on Apr 14 which is when I put it back on the line.
One interesting part of the chat, one CSR told me to contact a spectrum phone number which is their fraud department. LOL.

When you switched it back on 4/14, how did you do it? eSIM device swap via online account tool?
