I bought up till the end of 2025 when it was $30 a year forever ago.

The overall value isn't there that much anymore outside of the 4 months a year they give me games I either want to play or enjoy playing.

It use to be a great value when they were competing with Xbox over free games but anymore, they just give 8 months of meh games and 4 of really decent games.

I buy PS+ simply to play a couple of games online. And it's ridiculous that I have to pay for that. I remember it used to be free on PS3, and still is on PC. But the demand for console gaming is exponentially higher than Windows gaming given the convenience and overall "it just works" factor so I get why they keep raising prices for subscription. And throw near useless stuff like this "for free".

I am wondering, if it is possible to buy these games on Windows and enable CrossPlay?

Also Apex, Rocket League, Warzone and other FTP games don't require PS+ for online play. I went several months without renewing before caving for COD Zombies.
