How much cheaper? I'm not so good with audio systems so having everything together in a easy-to-setup bundle would make my life a lot easier
If they were it won't be by much and mostly likely the ebony model and not piano black model like this.
That is usually a premium product but it's only an aesthetic upgrade.
If Klipsch speakers are what you want to build on, bundle #1 is the way to go.
I would suggest skipping the 500SAs and going after a good sub.
500SAs aren't the optimal option for Atmos soundtracks imo.
Have these and no complaints. The RP line is leagues better than the reference line. Be warned, they are LOUD. Even at high volume, the sound is clear. Paired it up with a yamaha receiver because these tend to be thumpy and yamaha tends to be a bit sharper. Some people like denon receivers paired with this, but I really like the yamaha/klipsch balance
Just curious if anyone knows why when I click the link I see the deal but if I go to the website and find it I only see full price? Just curious if I've been missing sale prices all over their site.
Meh deal. If you can buy em separately for about the same price, buying the package should theoretically save you a decent amount. I'd think this would be more like $1k as they are the previous models. For $200 you coulda got the other package and you'd get the updated versions. More for your money from what I've seen imho. Is this flawed thinking?

It is an affiliate deal. So SD gets special pricing because they drive a significant amount of business to this site. If you examine the link it prob has something like "email price" or something in it.

What other speakers would you build on in this tier or higher around $2000 - $2500

More like wishful thinking. At $1000, bundle #1 would be an all time low outside of ymmv deals.
That would basically be $250 for each speaker. Also, there is very little difference between these and the updated versions. 99% of people would have no idea they are different.

Slickdeals gets a link for the discount price so that slickdeals can get a kickback/portion of the sale. People complain about this but the speakers are crazy good value at this price so who cares if slickdeals makes a small return.
I have RP-600m's(mains), RP-450C, Jamo S 803 sides, S 801 rears, and SVS PB-2000 sub and the setup absolutely booms in my bedroom. I can't imagine anyone needing more so the RP-8000F's must sound pretty massive and more suited for a living/family room. My setup sounds like the movie theater and it's pretty cheap.
I think anyone will enjoy these at this price. If you have a receiver and use the auto calibrate feature be sure that the speakers aren't set to large if you have a nice sub. My Yamaha YPAO was setting all my speakers to large and my SVS sub wasn't even turning on so my speakers sounded kinda meh until I manually went in and set all speakers to small and adjusted the crossover.
