I'm not sure if this is a joke or not, but assuming it isn't: You wouldn't want to do that because it wouldn't be the same sleeping experience. The mattresses are layered with three different substances. There's a diagram in one of the pictures.

The ad says that the mattress is certipur us certified. According to certipur website this means that the foam has no fiberglass

Check the last question in faq. It says that the certification does not include the mattress cover though. But then the eBay listing says that the cover has no fiberglass.

I am not sure if anyone can find out more than this, but it looks decent to my opinion.

If you're buying the 12 inch king, couldnt you just buy 2 6 inch kings and stack them on top of each other and have the same thing but 20% off?

Is this a joke? If not, I think it would depend as much, or more, on the sturdiness base you put the mattress upon.

If there was no fiberglass underneath than it will specify same way as for the cover
You can safely assume that there is fiberglass underneath
