I just bought this without the converter. I'd say its pretty solid. I was surprised by the quality of the box but I can only compare this to my Hori Mini Stick. I'm happy with the build quality so far and its very responsive when used on PC.

I find the stick pretty uncomfortable as it's not sufficiently ergonomically designed and isn't heavy enough IMO.

The edge of the casing cuts into my wrists due to its short horizontal length without a slope. And because it's relatively lightweight, the stick has a tendency to tip forward due to my wrists resting on the edge.

IMO you want something that has a slope to it like the QANBA OBSIDIAN [arcadeshock.com] and has a nice/heavy enough weight. For example, I can play on the OBSIDIAN for hours without getting wrist fatigue/pain while the Dark Matter becomes uncomfortable after a half hour of use for me.

Been this price recently, so I would expect this bundle to come up again if you're on the fence. I keep telling myself I don't really need it.

It's a good deal for the combo, though, IMHO. Good reviews on the stick even compared to more expensive models.

I got this combo last month for Tekken 8 and I'm pretty happy with it. Stick inputs are accurate and it has some weight to it so it feels sturdy.

For the converter, not sure what the reason is, but it only works for fighting games. Other games just don't recognize any inputs.

Big plus is the converter also works perfectly for PS4 pads and I've actually used my old pad more than the stick.

The Mayflash F500 is a decent alternative. I modded mine with a Seimitsu LS-32-01 joystick and Sanwa buttons.

Had this, returned it. Just like the Logitech steering wheel you will play it a few times and it will end up as clutter in the closet.
Not if you have the slightest interest in fighting games. Not sure why people even buy these sticks if they don't want to invest more than an hour learning anything about them
